A few videos

Here are a few videos that I think are so precious!
Enjoy!

Visitors

We have been so lucky to have to have some loved ones come down to visit us & meet Preston. Here are some pics of his Kansas City family that he's already gotten to meet.

Nana holding Preston while we were still in the hospital

Lori & Claire were our next visitors. It's amazing the difference just a few months makes
                                                                   when they're this little!

                                                                  Proud Aunt Raina
I may not have let her hold him as much as she'd like...
I'm still not ready to share him.

                                                       Happy cousins Addy & Macey.
The girls brought soooo much energy to the house!

Grandma Lawrence getting to hold her 2nd grandbaby & first grandson!

I can't believe how quick he's growing!

Well I've been doing a pretty poor job of keeping up on this blog so far... I just can't get enough of my little guy! I just want to hold him & look at him & admire every single little movement & sound he makes! So, that's why I've had such a hard time keeping up to date on posts.
I really can't believe how much the cliche is true...  They (babies) really are such little miracles & you really can't describe how great the feeling of motherhood is until you experience it. It really is great so far, I just cannot get enough of him! So much so that I actually like the smell of his sour milk neck & dirty diapers... Is that so wrong?
Well he sure has changed alot since the last post, so I'm putting up a plethera of pictures to get up to date & see all the changes he's already made in his short 7 weeks of life!

His first photo shoot on the beach

Such a happy baby after a bath

Love that squishy, skinny little face

                                                                          Got Milk?

Such a big yawn for such a little guy

Bathtime!

Here are some pics from Prestons first bath. He loved it!

Here are just a few random photos of his first few days home

                                                                  Quality cuddle time!
Perfect little feetsies
Oliver checking to see what it is making all that noise

Going home

Preston gave us our first little scare by having an extremely low heart rate when his vitals were checked on his 2nd night with us. The hospital had to run an ekg & send that to a Pensacola hospital to see if everything looked normal. After hours of waiting around the hospital we finally got word that he was   A-OK & we got the green light to go home. Words we were thrilled to hear at that point!

All snuggled up in his carseat ready to go home!
We heard it's a good idea to let your dog "find" your baby outside before bringing baby in for the first time... So here is Oliver discovering Preston :)

Trying out all his new toys.
Our yummy dinner we had awaiting us when we arrived home, thanks to mum!
Someone looking a little stressed out at his lack of attention??
It feels soooo good to be back...

The Birth Day of Preston Henry

After about 38 hours (combined total) of labor, 2 epidurals, 6 attempts at placing my iv, 2 blood draws, & no less than 6 nurses... Preston finally decided he was ready to greet the world!

Here we are right before the Dr & nurses came in for the big push. My reaction when my nurse told me it would be time to push in about an hour? Sh*ts getting real...

April 13th, 2011 at 2:43am we were blessed with the third member of our little family, Preston Henry.

Weighing in at 7 lbs 8oz

I think Preston had a plan all along... He knew what I needed before he came into this world. For my mommy to be here!
Catching up on some much needed sleep.
Looking like a healthy chubby little baby!
